THE AREA OF LANGHE
The Langhe is amongst the most fascinating areas in Piedmont
Its soft rolling hills, encompassing huge expanses of vineyards, are punctuated by ancient hilltop villages and Romanesque churches. This area of Piedmont stretches from the Maritime Alps of Liguria to the Monferrato.
In June 2014, the Langhe was recognised by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site.

It’s impossible to imagine the Langhe without thinking about its traditional dishes and prestigious wines.
The region is steeped in authentic gastronomy and we, at Relais Chiarene, would like to offer our guests the opportunity to sample these delights.
These recipes, using the finest local ingredients, are accompanied by some of the world’s most renouned wines. It’s the geological formation of the soil, the protection of the Alps, together with our microclimate, which enables the creation of such fabulous wines.
